Pros of using Paramount WorkPlace Time are ease of use, web-based, tight integration into ERP system, and willingness of development group to work on and implement our enhancement requests into the product. I would highly recommend this product to any small/mid-sized company that is looking to track and bill employee time.
The automated routing rules and flexibility have allowed us to create a very flexible and dynamic approval process for our expense reports. We are a third party administrator for many different companies so the ability to successfully process under each companies unique guidelines is a major plus. We have been using Paramount WorkPlace since 2013 as our procurement software. We have always enjoyed using WP, it is easy to use, meets all of our needs and the very few times we have had any issues we have gotten resolution quickly. We replaced an aging financial system from JD Edwards with Dynamics GP. Our financial management team wanted to include system functionality to automate the procurement process. Our VAR suggested Paramount Workplace. We did an evaluation and thought it would be a good fit. The system has been running since 2012. I like the way Workplace is integrated with GP. Paramount Workplace has been our PO system solution with GP since going live with the product back in 2008. It has provided us with a centralized and easy to use place to enter and process purchase orders and one off checks that our organization has needed. It’s integration with GP and the ease to which new user can learn to navigate the system. However, the best part of the product has been its service. Paramount Workplace is a great compliment to our ERP. It is user friendly and it is complimentary to Microsoft Dynamics GP for the materials management piece. NZ Blood Service has been using the WorkPlace solution for our procurement process since 2009. The configuration of the system and on-going administration has been flexible enough to represent our business workflow and business rules around delegated financial authority. Overall the flow of information which integrates directly into Dynamics GP and the standard functionality is seamless.
Paramount WorkPlace is easy to maintain. Travel requests can route differently based on different criteria than expense sheets. I especially like the feature that creates the expense sheet from an Approved Travel request. Our travelling account reps like the Mobile App for taking pictures of receipts, etc. Our Sr. VP’s can filter Travel requests and Expense sheets during approval. We process expense sheets weekly and synchronization with our ERP works effortlessly. WorkPlace Expense has improved timing of employees expense reimbursement payments. This makes everyone happy!
